Our brief was to raise awareness, reposition the college as 'the place to go' and build numbers. No pressure then.
So we got cracking with a series of workshops to unpick why numbers where not up on the previous two years. We tuned in to local perceptions of the college and what internal beliefs were held of how the college operates as an organisation. This made for some interesting outcomes.
With a new principle in place and with new plans to push the college forward with well deserved STEM investment, we had a story to tell the local folk. That this college was not a place where you go if you have no qualifications, no future plans and no hope, but a place where you can come and grow as a young adult and put the building blocks in place for the career ahead.
